These areas of Himachal Pradesh are a real challenge to the riders. The route lies in difficult terrain, rough road and inclement weather conditions passing over the passes Kunzam and Rohtang. The highlight of this tour is Spiti valley. The mountainscape in Spiti has an exotic appearance. All around, there is a marvelous panorama of rugged crags and slopes that change their colours from pale pink to bright scarlet. The safari trail leads from one valley to another crossing passes of 4000 mts heights. You start from the lush green forests and pastures of Kullu Himalaya and enter into the cold desert of Kinnaur and Spiti; and to complete the circuit you again enter into Kullu – Manali crossing over Rogtang Pass.

Arrival in Manali and then transfer to the hotel. Rest for a while and in the afternoon you will be introduced to your motorcycles. You will then be given a short hands on to the bike and you can take the bike for a short ride so that you can test the bike yourself.
Manali to Shoja (111 kms/ 5 hrs)
Today we start our motorbike adventure and ride to Shoja in Tirthan Valley. Ride from Manali on NH 21 crossing Kullu town and after crossing tunnel at Aut, we turn to enter Tirthan valley.
Banjar to Sarahan Over Jalori Pass
Shady scenic trail goes up to the Jalori pass ( 3200 mtrs) descend through outer Seraj to join the Main road from Simla leads to Kinnaur –Spiti. Continue to Sarahan the summer capital of the Rampur Busheher. We move from Shoja towards Sarahan, a small village which is the site of the Bhimakali Temple. The temple is known to be around 800 years old.
Sarahan to Sangla-Kalpa(3300mtrs)
There are a number of temples to see in Kalpa and we stay in a comfortable hotel and enjoy the views. On the way to Kalpa we will cover Sangla Valley too.
Kalpa to Nako (3663mtrs)
After breakfast we will ride further down to Recong Peo and will meet The NH 22 at Powari to Nako . Its exciting riding the narrow Satluj valley till Khab where Satluj river meets Spiti river and this points is also the reference where we enter the Spiti valley. We ascend upto Nako village, the last among Kinnauri villages located on banks of a small lake. Evening free to explore Nako village which is located on banks of a lake and visit the monastery.
Nako to Kaza (3700mtrs)
After an early breakfast, we ride towards Kaza along the Spiti River. Enroute we would stop at Tabo to visit the Tabo Monastery which was founded in 996AD by the great teacher Richensangpo. The monastery has nine temples. We ride further towards Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. We end the day on reaching Kaza, the main town of Spiti valley.
Sightseeing around Kaja & Kibber
Today is free day. You take a short ride to Key Gompa built on a hillock near Kaza and further to Kibber village situated high on the Spiti plateau. You have a free afternoon today to stroll around Kaza town. Overnight stay in Kaza itself.
KAZA to CHANDRATAL (95 KMS / APPROX 04 – 05 HRS RIDE)
Now we will begin our ride from Kaza towards the crescent shaped Chandra Tal Lake which is located at an altitude of 4,300 meters.On this route, we will pass by several villages of the Spiti Valley, namely Rangrik, Kito, Pangmo and Loser – proceeding towards Kunzun Pass. After covering 8.5 km you arrive at Chandertal. It is a natural lake situated at 4270 M. Overnight at hotel.
Chandertal to Manali (116 kms/ 7 hrs)
The last day of the tour- first you descend down to Batal where you again join main Kaja-Manali road. From Batal, you follow Chandra River downwards to Chhatru. Here you go across the river over a bridge to the left bank of the river. As we continue our bike ride towards Manali, we will cross the famous Rohtang Pass which is about 51 km beyond Manali, on the eastern side of Pir Panjal Himalayan Range. Overnight stay at Manali in a Hotel.
